SEOUL, March 22 (Yonhap) — South Korean band CNBLUE’s new song “Between Us” topped a Chinese music video chart, the band’s management agency said Wednesday.
FNC Entertainment said the title song of the band’s new album “7℃N,” released Monday, ranked first in the music video section of YinYueTai, a popular Chinese music video sharing site.
It also topped the Korean music section of Beijing-based online video platform iQiyi and that of another music streaming site Kugou.
The new album has six songs, including “It’s You,” “Royal Rumble” and “When I was Young.”
The title song, written by the band’s leader Jung Yong-hwa, EXO-CBX, Japanese group Arashi and Justin Reinstein, is about the confusing and awkward feelings two people have during their early relationship.
CNBLUE will perform the song for the first time on Mnet’s “M Countdown” on Thursday.
